My secret pin cushion (Yup that's for you hijabers)

I've been working on this for quite some time.

You see, ever since I started to wear a shawl,

(well I'm not very comfortable of calling myself hijaber cause my attire and my tudung are not fully shariah compliant. I've only decided to cover up, early february this year. So baby steps ok ....baby steps. And that's another story for another day),

I always wonder where to put my hijab pins / shawl pins before I go about my ablution, especially when I visit surau in the malls or toll station. I always... like 99% of the time, ended up pinning my pins on the shawl itself or on my bags and eventually loose it.... before I event get to put it on again, pfft.

As a so called wannabe entrepreneur who sells handmade hijab pin (trying ok, visit chernonet.blogspot.com for more info), I was digging into this head of mind to find a solution.

Initially, I was contented with dumping my pins in a small tin box like below :

Convenient really for traveling. What's with my family and friends asking me to borrow a pin, cause they lost theirs lolz. But it's just so messy! And difficult to pick those that I want even with my tiny fingers!

So since I've got some felt lying around (I just love purchasing these stuffs), I decided to make a
' travel pin cushion ' where :
A.it's easy to pin
B. it covers your pins to protect both your pins and other items in your hand bag
C. cute / slim enough to fit in your tiny purse

And voilà :

You see how the pin cushion leaves room at the bottom of pin to put your end cap. Now you can keep the end cap together with your pin!

I love it (duh, cause I made it). Copyright ok. Xmaula curi idea, kasilah kredit kalau ye pun.

Well, this was my first attempt. I was thinking of selling it, but this one is sort of a prototype. I think I could do better.

What do you think?

Well, happy monday everyone
